Communicating the £110m transformation of LLA

London Luton Airport was acquired by leading investment company, Ardian, in partnership with the world’s largest airport operator, Aena, in November 2013. Headland advised Ardian throughout the transaction and subsequently acted for both shareholders on post-deal communications, including a planned £100m capital investment programme and changes to management.

Headland is now working with the operational management to deliver a proactive corporate campaign in support of the redevelopment. The new investment is set to transform London Luton Airport by improving the experience for passengers while increasing capacity from 12 million to 18 million people per year by 2026.
