A director at Headland, I focus on communications strategy, video content and media training. My role brings me into direct and regular contact with chief executives and other business leaders.
Working as a senior adviser to a diverse group of organisations, I use skills developed during 18 years as a frontline journalist to help clients tell their stories in engaging and effective ways.
Prior to joining headland, I spent over a decade as a correspondent with BBC News – which took me from the London Stock Exchange to the conflict zones of the Middle East via the corridors of Westminster.
This unusual mix of postings and specialisms has given me a broad perspective on the full range of modern communications issues.
I began my career as a business and stock market reporter for Reuters, before joining Sky News as the channel’s e-commerce correspondent. Then from 2001-2014,I worked at the BBC as a general reporter, business presenter, political correspondent and local government correspondent.
