I am a Partner at Headland with more than twenty years’ experience in reputation management and public affairs. Across the different advisory and in-house roles I have held, my distinctive area of expertise is helping corporates and brands to transform their relationships with customers and their influencers. My work has consistently and successfully managed reputation risk to protect and create value for consumer-facing businesses.
Prior to joining Headland, I led Tesco’s government relations globally and spearheaded its CSR campaigns. These roles followed my time as Head of Corporate Affairs for Camelot, the operator of the UK National Lottery, where I devised and delivered a reputation management strategy to support its growth plans.
I started my career in journalism, cutting my teeth in local papers and regional radio before moving into national newspapers and TV. I then spent a decade as a Director at Fishburn Hedges advising clients such as Sainsbury’s, Nestle and Aviva. I am currently a visiting lecturer in reputation management at Cass and Manchester Business Schools.
