Responsibilities

  • Provide digital expertise to teams and clients across Headland.
  • Help develop and run digital campaigns for B2B and B2C companies, leveraging organic and paid social campaigns.
  • Set up and manage paid social campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as emerging platforms.
  • Advise business leaders on how they can optimise and manage their personal social profiles.
  • Conduct digital research for new business work and online analysis to measure the success of campaigns and launches.
  • Report on and optimise paid campaigns.
  • Manage the development of digital content; from liaising with designers to writing compelling copy.
  • Drive digital forward within Headland, actively participating as a digital team member.
  • Knowledge-share across the business, training colleagues in digital best practice and developing advice notes.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital trends and platform updates.

The ideal candidate

  • This role would suit someone who has already gained good experience in a digital role either at an agency or in-house, at a minimum of Account Manager level.
  • Experience developing and managing organic and paid digital campaigns on social media platforms.
  • A feel for how digital can be integrated into a broad set of communications disciplines, from financial markets to politicians to mass market consumer audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An understanding of SEO and SEO best practice, as well as experience with PPC campaigns.
  • Team player with self-starting attitude.
  • Confident and comfortable in front of clients who will range from “starter” to “sophisticated” and able to give digital advice to even the most senior leadership.
  • Experience with social listening and analytics tools such as social platform analytics, Talkwalker, Brandwatch etc.
  • Some design experience preferred, but not required, for example with Adobe Creative Suite.
