I worked in the City of London for 35 years as a sell-side analyst covering the retail sector, and particularly non-food stocks such as Inditex, H&M, AB Foods, Next, Zalando, Asos and Kingfisher. I was most recently a Managing Director and team head at UBS. I was consistently highly ranked by clients and corporates in the Institutional Investor surveys, and was placed second in my last survey in 2019. In addition to research and analytical skills, I have extensive experience in IPOs, M&A and demergers, and also in advising senior management teams on strategy and ESG issues. I studied PPE at Oxford University, and more recently completed a Business Sustainability course at Cambridge University. I am also currently a Managing Director at not-for-profit business Bankers without Boundaries, which seeks to mobilise private capital to supplement the work carried out by public bodies and foundations on high impact projects that benefit the environment.
