I help clients to seize opportunities provided by the political, regulatory, and business news cycle to promote their agenda and uphold their reputation. I began my career in Lloyds Banking Group’s in-house communications team but joined Headland from HM Treasury where I was the Chancellor’s Principal Press Officer (looking after Rishi Sunak, Sajid Javid and Philip Hammond) and the City Minister’s Press Secretary (John Glen and Stephen Barclay). At the Treasury I was the lead on the department’s broadcast and consumer output and led numerous cross-government media campaigns, including the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, the pensions cold calling ban, and the sale of the government’s stake in RBS.
