Thursday 28th Nov 2019
Prior to joining Headland Kenny gained eight-years frontline experience in policy communications at the heart of government. Covering tax at the Treasury as Press Secretary to the Financial Secretary and then as Head of Financial Services Communications he provided ministers and officials with advice and strategies to ensure policies landed well with media and stakeholders. At 10 Downing Street he was Head of Brexit and Economy Communications, which saw him manage relationships with the comms teams at HMT, BEIS, Transport and HMRC; as well as work closely with the Brexit negotiation teams. At Headland Kenny advises organisations seeking to affect change or protect their license to operate through media, digital and direct engagement with policymakers.
