“During my internship at Headland, I learned about the key skills needed to work in PR. The combination of learning sessions, tasks and regular chats with the team provided me with exposure to the inner workings of a busy communications firm. For anyone interested in learning what life is like in public relations, this is the perfect opportunity!” James Wilkinson, Senior Account Executive and former Headland InternJames
“Internships are a great way of gaining experience and dipping your toe in to see whether you might enjoy working in the industry. It also looks great on your CV and demonstrates to your future employer that you have a genuine interest in the sector. Before embarking on a career in PR, I interned at the Financial Times. The experience had a profound influence on me and reaffirmed my love of current affairs and my interest in pursuing a comms career.” Pippa Murphy, Associate DirectorPippa
