Headland has been recognised for the third time in a row as Agency of the Year at the annual Corp Comms Awards. This recognition is different to most awards as in-house communications teams across the industry are asked to vote for agencies based on a number of criteria, as opposed to a more traditional judging process.
Headland’s win follows it being recognised by Corp Comms as Corporate Agency of the Year in 2018 and both Corporate and Financial Agency of the Year in 2019. In 2020, the Corp Comms awards were replaced by a special Covid Comms awards due to the pandemic, with no industry survey being conducted on agency of the year.
Chris Salt, CEO of Headland, said: “There’s nothing better than winning an award when it’s voted for by your clients and the wider industry. Thank you to everyone who gave their feedback on us, and to all our clients for their continued support.”
Headland was also highly commended in the Best Corporate Campaign category for its earned and paid media work bringing to life Iberdrola’s journey from Spanish utility to new energy major; and shortlisted in the Best Sustainability Initiative category for its work to launch Mulberry’s sustainability roadmap.
