Carl Leijonhufvud

Carl has spent his career advising world leading financial institutions, professional services and fast-growing businesses on their reputations, focusing on corporate and financial communications. High profile clients that Carl has advised include Accenture, Ardian, EQT Partners, Goldman Sachs and Permira.

His experience also involves leading the Global Communications & Marketing team at Permira, the global private equity firm, and advising on a variety of special situations and complex issues. This includes corporate and sovereign debt restructurings, employment issues, complex M&A, and litigation. Prior to joining Headland, Carl worked as a specialist advisor to the alternative investment industry.

Carl holds a degree in Management from Warwick Business School and is a Swedish national who has lived and worked across the Nordics, the U.S., China and the U.K.
