Jonathan brings twenty years of experience as a broadcast journalist to Headland, where he joined the Leadership Communications Coaching team in 2023. As a political correspondent at BBC News, he reported extensively on the turbulent post-Brexit period at Westminster, the 2019 general election and the UK government’s response to the Covid pandemic. Postings in Brussels, New York and Washington D.C have given him a deep understanding of the international media landscape – and during his stint as a specialist technology reporter he learned the importance of effective media engagement for organisations and individuals. Having worked as an accomplished live broadcaster and presenter, Jonathan understands the power of good communication and its potential to engage and influence an audience – and he is passionate about helping Headland’s clients tell their story.
