Gabriel co-leads the technology team at Headland, specialising in corporate reputation, policy communications and issues management.
He’s been fortunate to work with some of the world’s most innovative and fast-growing firms at every stage from startups and founder-led businesses to global and listed companies, as well as key ecosystem players such as leading technology investors.
He advises clients across multiple audiences – customers, investors, employees, regulators and policymakers – on growing and protecting reputation, navigating high-stakes moments and developing long-term strategy.
Gabriel began his career in politics and public policy, engaging with technology firms as adviser to Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna. Before joining Headland, he was Head of Communications for an organisation representing universities focused on science, research and entrepreneurship and a Fellow of the University of Cambridge Centre for Science and Policy.
At Headland, projects Gabriel has led include Lime’s successful media and stakeholder campaign for e-scooter legalisation, supporting early-stage firms in defining their narrative and preparing a European tech brand for a significant capital markets event.
