I lead our infrastructure offer to help businesses understand the complex worlds of transport, engineering, and infrastructure. I help bring initiatives to life for decision-makers and support the development and communication of investment and business cases. I joined Headland from No.10 where I was appointed by the Prime Minister to deliver policy to improve productivity across the UK’s small business sector and create a direct voice of business in Whitehall. Over the last two decades I have worked closely with industry and, while in No.10, focused on SMEs and advanced manufacturing. At DfT I advised ministers on a range of transport infrastructure issues and worked on a number of high-profile crisis management issues including the repatriation of passengers following the failure of Monarch Airlines. I have also stood as a Parliamentary candidate in two general elections.
