Tom Lawless

Tom co-leads our sustainability practice, advising organisations on the development and communication of sustainability strategies. He has strong experience working with purpose-led businesses and advises Natura &Co, the world’s largest B Corp, CDP, the leading independent climate disclosure platform, and Terraformation, a fast-growing climate tech company. He led our work with Business for Nature to devise a campaign which has seen 900 businesses worth a collective $4trn sign up to a statement calling for measures to reverse nature loss, and he helped David Attenborough’s Global Apollo Programme become Mission Innovation at COP21. Tom is an adviser to the UN refugee agency on MADE51, a flagship project to create sustainable livelihoods, The Chancery Lane Project, an organisation of lawyers creating open-source climate positive contract clauses, and is an expert for Carbon 13, an incubator for climate tech start-ups.
